White Water Rafting from Vail

There are many white water rafting options near Vail, Colorado in the Spring, Summer & Fall.  We offer beginner white water rafting trips on the Colorado River May-September about 30-45 minutes Northwest of Vail.  We also offer intermediate rafting trips on the Eagle River about 10-20 minutes from Vail during the Spring season.

The Colorado River is famous for its rugged remote wilderness areas and we are so lucky to have such a beautiful river right in our backyard.  For over 35 years we have offered fun, splashy & affordable white water rafting to the Vail area perfect for ages 3+.  Rafting from Vail is the perfect way to venture off the beaten path and see some truly remarkable backcountry.

Many of our Vail guests love our Colorado River trips because it allows their group the opportunity to unplug, reconnect and relax. If you have a group with beginners, smaller children and more adventurous folks I always recommend the Colorado River.  This scenic beginner rafting trip has splashy class II/-III rapids that are easily navigable in our large guided rafts and more challenging and interactive in our 2 man inflatable kayaks (we call them duckies) pictured below.  We try our best to bring 1 ducky per reservation. If your entire group is interested in inflatable kayaks we are happy to do a private inflatable kayak trip customized for your group.  Due to safety concerns duckies might not always be an option.   Feel free to call us if you have any questions about this.

There’s a lot to do during the summers here so we understand if you’d like to pack as much adventure into your stay as possible, we offer AM & PM half day trips, full day, and private trips all a short distance from Vail.  We meet all of our guests right on the river for our rafting trips this can allow you the option to explore nearby areas after your trip and means you will spend less time waiting on others.  We typically drive you up river in our vans then we’ll rafting back down to your car.

We are a smaller company, we wont trek guests around in uncomfortable buses and we do our best to ensure you and your group wont feel lost in a crowd. Reservations are required and advance reservations are encouraged since we can book up.
