Eagle
River Rafting
One of
the last remaining undammed rivers in Colorado sets the stage
for a thrilling whitewater raft trip you can tell your friends
about – better yet, take them with you.
This
challenging whitewater rafting trip is a favorite of our guides.
Rushing rapids, fed by melting Rocky Mountain snow, make for
an intense trip designed to make your heart pound & adrenaline
flow.
The Eagle
River offers continuous Class II whitewater with lots of Class
III & IV rapids. The Trestle, Dead Cow (don’t ask!), Rodeo
and Roller Dam are a few of the rapids you will encounter.
We provide wetsuits for this raft trip. Don’t forget, it was
snow yesterday!
We offer
both morning and afternoon half day trips from the Wolcott
BLM put-in to Eagle. Our full day trips launch at Edwards,
lunch at Wolcott and end in Eagle. The Eagle River is a snowmelt
river, only available May, June and sometimes through mid-July,
depending on weather. Please call for current conditions as
water levels fluctuate according to the weather.
All of
our Eagle River whitewater rafting trips meet in the town
of Eagle, on the southwest corner of Interstate 70. It is
30 miles west of Vail. Give us a call for specific directions
from your location.
